In February 2009 we met Nepal Tours Destinations at the Holliday Fair in Utrecht. Because we heard positive experiences from other travellers and we wanted to leave the money in Nepal (instead of a European company who only leaves a small part to the local organisation) we have deliberately chosen for the Nepal Tours Destination organisation. During the weeks of preparation the organisation proposed a tailor made programme exactly according to our wishes. They replied very quickly, answered all questions and proposed a programme that made us very enthusiast. When we arrived in Kathmandu, we were welcomed as expected. The whole trip was completely arranged and organised, a private driver, professional tour guides, strong and kind porters for our luggage during the Annapurna trekking. The Best of Nepal programme was a 18 days mix of nature, culture, exclusive resorts and hotels, kind guesthouses, warm weather, heavy stair climbing and amazing views and kind people. With pleasure we have contributed to support poor people, projects and schools, realising that our gifts are just a sign of compassion and support.

With great pleasure and never to forget experiences and impressions we strongly recommend Nepal Tours Destinations to anyone who wants to explore Nepal.

Passing the immigration at Tribhuvan, the officer said to me with a smile, you must really like Nepal, 2nd time in 8 months!

What's not to like about Nepal? Friendly, nice, helpful people, that will go out their way to assist you.

A beautiful country with great diversity. My 1st stay in Nepal was for a short 3 days in Kathmandu, in November 2008 I came back for an all Nepal tour of 15 days.

I visited Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan nationalpark, Lumbini, Pokhara, 5 days of trekking starting in Nayapul, Birethanti, Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Tadapani, Gandruk and back to nayapul again. Returned to Pokhara and Kathmandu. Thank you to all my guides and drivers and not least Friendship Nepal for looking after me in the best possible way - a speciel thanks to my trekking guide Robin Subedi and porter Ram Rai for their infinite patience when I found it exhausting. It was worth it.

Frienship Nepal did an excellent job, well planned and organized. I will be using your expertise again.

My spouse and I took the trip of a lifetime with Friendship Nepal. Before our trip, Ram and Roka were responsive and kind over email on the front end, taking ample time to answer our (many) questions thoroughly. Then, from our arrival at the airport in Kathmandu through the end of our journey of 14 days, we were in the very capable hands of Ramesh, who could not have been a better guide.

Ramesh had a superior grasp on the history, culture, and landscape of Nepal. He was considerate, patient, and generous in his attention to us--from thoroughly sharing the history of the country and the sites we were visiting, to giving insights into the cultural norms and traditions of Nepal, to helping to hold me steady during wet and slippery spots on the monsoon trails (I'm new to trekking and I'm also a timid downhill trekker), to even taking our orders and helping with the cooking at some of the mountain tea house accommodations. While some independent trekkers experienced leech bites on the trail (a non-uncommon occurrence on jungle treks during monsoon time and one that I wished to avoid if possible), Ramesh had a fantastic system he shared with us that kept us all from getting even one bite the whole time! Ramesh helped us feel completely at home throughout our whole trip. Our driver Shiva and porter Binod were also top-notch.

The entire Friendship Nepal itinerary was nicely laid out, with a good balance of cities, cultural sites, mountain trekking, and some jungle safari. The 3 star accommodations in which we stayed were comfortable and well-chosen. We felt that the entire package was a great value.

Some folks had warned us beforehand that July is not an ideal season to visit Nepal due to the hot, wet weather of monsoon--but I'm glad we went anyway, and I'm even more glad that we went with Friendship Nepal!
