Day 01: Beijing Arrival
Arrive in Beijing late in the afternoon. After formalities at the airport, welcome by your guide and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. Today, visit the Forbidden City, the former residence of the Ming and Qing emperors. Then, ascend Coal Hill from where you will discover a nice bird's eye view over Beijing. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Temple of Heaven with its outstanding round shape, covered by an exquisite triple roof of blue tiles. This is where the Emperor used to pray for good harvests. Later, stroll in the Antiques street of Liulichang. Dinner at local restaurant. In the evening enjoy a Beijing Opera show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. A full day excursion to the Great Wall (section of Mutianyu) and the Ming Tombs including a visit of Chang Ling Tomb. Although not excavated itself, it displays the artifacts found in the Ding Ling Tomb. Enjoy a walk along the Sacred Path leading to the necropolis. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to town for Beijing Roast Duck specialty dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Beijing - Shanghai
Breakfast at hotel. Begin your visit of the city with a rickshaw ride in the old quarters at the heart of the "Hutong", the little lanes of old Beijing. Lunch will be taken in the same area at a local restaurant. Then, visit the Summer Palace, located on the outskirts of the city. After an early dinner at local restaurant, take the evening train to Shanghai. The train has first-class carriages with comfortable four-berth compartments. Overnight on the train (four persons sharing one compartment)

Day 05: Shanghai
Breakfast will be served on train. Arrive at Shanghai railway station at 10:00 AM. Take your first steps in the most booming city in China. In the afternoon, visit Shanghai's old town still known for its bustling atmosphere and lively old lanes. Mandarin Yu garden, created in the 16th century, will enchant you with the grace of its layout and ornamentation. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. After dinner, enjoy an acrobatic show by the famous Shanghai Circus. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Shanghai - Departure
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, visit Jade Buddha Temple, the most important worship place in the city. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Shanghai Museum where you will discover beautiful collections of bronze, porcelain, sculptures and calligraphy. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for departure
